During my communications with the Finnish Embassy, London in December 2021, I sent them images of my cyber stalker, who had been publicly displaying himself on social media standing in front of the controversial flag of The Confederate States of America I asked the Embassy
‘ What flag is this Finnish citizen standing in front of?‘
FLAG OF FINLAND
As many of you know, the flag of Finland uses two colours , blue and white. The main design is a blue Nordic cross over a white background. The blue represents the Finnish Sky and the many lakes of the nation. The white represents the snow.
FLAG OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA
The flag of the confederate states of America, over recent years been more prevalent in the media as a symbol of opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement. Supporters of the confederate battle flag associate it with pride of Southern Heritage, States’ Rights, Historical Celebrations and glorification of the Civil War. While others associate it with racism, slavery, segregation, racially motivated violence, white supremacy, Neo-Nazism, the alt-right etc.
NO RESPONSE
It should be no surprise that I receive no response to my question ‘ What flag is this Finnish citizen standing in front of? from the Finnish Embassy in London. Maybe they were slightly embarrassed.
Seeing a citizen of Finland representing the dark side of society
Of course, it’s not such a big deal seeing an individual standing in front of the confederate flag. However, when more imagery and actual communication was sent showing the sinister nature of this cyber stalker, displaying further racist iconography such as swastikas. It contributed to the point I was trying to make to the Finnish Embassy that this particular individual seems to be representing right wing beliefs.
The member of the Finnish embassy seemed to be lost for words
After a long pause, they again referred me yet again to their Finnish/Swedish speaking police switchboard, which was almost an impossible task to get through to at the time.
Seems, if you are being cyberstalked by an individual from Finland, don’t expect the Finnish Embassy in London, UK to help you resolve this situation
